I love how feminine and strong it is!

Graduation season is upon us! Seniors are making those final memories with friends that will last a lifetime as they prepare to go their separate ways. This milestone marks the biggest change in a child's life – they'll soon be heading off to find their place in the world.

As exciting as this time is for the graduates, the adults in their lives often struggle to see past the child they've helped raise over the last 18 years. Those years flash before their eyes in an instant. As a mother myself, I know I'd be nothing if not sentimental during this transition.

Becky is a mother and aunt who knows these feelings all too well. She's right in the thick of it, watching her son and nieces graduate high school. She approached me with an amazing graduation gift idea to celebrate the seniors in her life. Each one had a sport they thrived in that highlighted many of their high school years. She asked if I could commission personalized paintings showcasing them doing what they loved, with tons of little easter eggs that would mean something special to each graduate.

Of course, I said yes!

We worked together to develop compositions and imagery that would suit each young adult. I added quotes from their favorite scripture, glowing scoreboards, football fields, basketball courts, the star athlete, and of course, a little of my own personal style. I loved working with Becky because she was so straightforward and honest. If she didn't like something, she'd let me know, but she also took my professional advice when needed.

I've had the pleasure of creating three original paintings for her and gotten to know her son and two nieces through them. I'm looking forward to creating more for her in the future and would love to create one for your graduate as well.

The score board says 20-25 for the year she graduated and the clock has 12 seconds left because its her number!

These graduation paintings aren't just art – they're a way to freeze time and capture the essence of who these young people are at this pivotal moment. Each brushstroke celebrates their accomplishments while acknowledging the beautiful journey ahead.

If you'd like to give the graduate in your life a meaningful gift that will continue to inspire them as they move forward, let's talk about creating a custom piece together.
